As you explore the underwater environments around Aruba, you'll encounter many different bottom fish species. Our fishing trips are planned ahead of time with the best spots in mind, ensuring you're exposed to as broad a range as fish species as possible. Our team is clued up about the best fishing locations around the island and know which species are indigenous to each individual area, letting you know which are safe to catch and which need to be returned to their native habitat. Adventure Sports is committed to preserving the ecological diversity around the island, and preservation is one of our main mission statements. What's more, our bottom fishing trips are carried out in calmer waters, so the chance of seasickness is a lot less likely than with our deep sea fishing excursions.
Bottom fishing Aruba
In the shallow waters along the coastline of Aruba, the temperatures are often warmer than conditions further out to sea, contributing to a high volume of tropical fish species and marine life. That is why bottom fishing in Aruba is very popular. The coral reefs are at their most abundant in these shallow depths of the Caribbean. Here, the water remains incredibly clear, so you can look forward to quality, jaw-dropping views of fish, including lionfish, balloonfish and parrotfish. Get ready to marvel at a spectacular colour palette, courtesy of some of the most beautiful tropical fish species in the world. If you'd like to get a closer look at these incredible animals in their natural habitat, Adventure Sports also offers snorkeling excursions, which you can merge into your fishing trip. All of our packages are focused on smaller groups of between two to six people, so everyone can enjoy the best time possible and get full access to our professional team on board. What's more, you can look forward to incredible fishing and snorkeling sites far removed from the beaten track, so you won't have to contend with the usual throngs of tourists. Aruba enjoys an average temperature of 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year, so every month is an ideal time for a visit. The island itself is home to more than 80 different nationalities, and you'll have no trouble connecting with the welcoming inhabitants of Aruba.
