PADI Open Water Course ArubaWould you like to get your PADI Open Water? At Adventure Sports Aruba we offer you, together with your family or friends, the opportunity to learn to dive in the beautiful clear Caribbean ocean of Aruba. We only do private lessons with your own family or friends. After having completed the theoretical (average between 4 and 6 hours), you go to the sea in a group of 1 to 4 people in 3 half-days together with our experienced Padi instructors. The course consists of a theory section where you have to take an exam for a morning practice with your equipment and skills and 4 open (2x2) water dives. With the latest equipment and guidance from Padi trained instructors with a lot of diving experience we ensure that diving is done in a safe way. Once you have obtained your open water certificate (PADI), you can dive into the most beautiful places in the world with your family or friends.
Before you can start you will have to fill in this medical questionnaire and fill in everything with no to be allowed to dive, you have to fill in a yes, then you need a doctor's certificate to be allowed to dive. It is also important that you do not dive 24 hours before you fly back home and take that into account when you book your dives.
Depending on whether you have done your theory online by padi e-learing (recommended) beforehand, it is essential that you have finished the first 3 chapters of the theory and have watched the accompanying DVD. Then we can start with the practical part of the pool skills, we always try to do this directly in the sea, so that you can get used to it immediately. This takes about 4 hours to learn what is involved in diving. Explanation of the use of your equipment, tank, lead and gear. Then you go into the sea (where you can still stand) to start with the basic exercises. These will be practiced until you have mastered it properly, diving is a very safe sport if you know what you are doing that is why our instructor wants to know that you understand and master the basis.
The 2nd day you will make 2 dives (2 tank dives) of about 35 to 50 minutes during which you will do some of your learned exercises during these 2 relaxed dives. This will be told to you in advance during your briefing so that you know what is expected of you.
The 3rd day you will make the last 2 dives of about 35 to 50 minutes with again a number of exercises so you can show that you have completely mastered and then the instructor can certify you and you are a Padi Open water diver.
Everything will be explained to you in a calm way and you will have all the time to master the exercises. More time is not a problem. We insist that you become a well-trained responsible diver who will experience a lot of diving pleasure after this training.
Save time on your holiday and finisch your theory at home with the padi online course and do your dives with us to finish your open water certification in the great Caribbean Sea!
